Clara Arnold presents a unique combination: a head for business and a heart for art.

Clara grew up in Montreal, graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce. Pursuing her interest in Industrial Relations, she moved to Toronto and obtained her Master's in that field from the University of Toronto.

Over the course of her career, Clara has gained extensive human resources and labour relations experience in diverse industries including broadcasting, retail/ distribution, healthcare, manufacturing and technology. She is currently the VP, Human Resources for TVO.

But that's just her day job. A visit to Clara's website www.claraarnold.com quickly reveals her artistic side. Always keen on photography, it has clearly evolved into a true passion in her life.

Combining her interest in exploring unusual destinations with an eye for the unique and beautiful, Clara has captured scenes and portraits that are far more than your average holiday photo. She counts Laos and the Western Desert in Egypt amongst her most memorable trips, and showcases the history, culture and people of Bhutan, Malta and Croatia through her photo books. An increasing interest in portraiture is revealed in Moments of Time.

Business and art converge nicely in her portrait work. Clara finds that the people skills acquired through her work in Human Resources help her establish the rapport needed to capture the uniqueness of her portrait subjects.

Clara is a mom to three grown children. One of her daughters is currently working overseas in London, another daughter is a successful manager in Toronto, and her son is at Dalhousie University. All three have inherited her love of travel.
